Q: 1) In detail, Describe the traits, and the way the "spot near the river" represents, can relate to a religious symbol.
A: Due to the river, the spot near the water can represent some sort of baptismal service, right after Lenny commits a sin. He goes to the spot to cleanses himself, and the waiting of George, who can represent Jesus in this case.
Q: 2)Did you think Curly gave his wife the respect, and valued his time with her?
A: No, due to the fact when she was murdered, he showed no sympathy, and no remorse within the time he should have valued her. Curly showed her no respect, and i think that he was very over-protective, due to her social life around the rest of the cast, and men on the farm.
Q: 3)Do you see George being a father-figure to Lenny, therefore the physical difference?
A: Yeah, George has the smarts, and Lenny has the physical attributes. This story can relate to a novel called "Freak the Mighty", because it has two characters similar, but the characters have a big age difference but the stories are similar.
Q: 4)Does Curl's Wife seem miserable through-out the book?
A: Yes, she needs attention and someone to converse with. She seem like a nice girl, but she plays a trouble maker type, due to the ego, and probably insecurity of himself of finding another woman.
Q: 5)Is Lenny scared of George?
A: No, I think Lenny take George in as family, he would never want to hurt him or put him in that type of situation. Vice-Versa.
